Kabir is even 500 years after his birth still India’s most quoted poet – His timeless spiritual poems and songs dare today as relevant as they were then – Kabir’s poems speak of an universal truth beyond egotism, casteism or ritualism. He is straight-forward, simple, sublime, humorous, even subversive, spontaneous and most of all spiritual.

Reinhardt Winter, Arno Krimmer and Christina Trefny will recite Kanir’s poetry. Romain Mollard and Hamid Mehregan will perform an unique fusion of Indian Classical Music and Iranian Classical Music – Romain Mollard from Marseilles, France who has studied Bansuri (Indian Bamboo Flute) with Flute Maestro Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia, will perform Bansuri & Tabla and the Iranian musician Hamid Mehregan will perform Iranian Setar as well as Tonbak & Daf. They will be accompanied by Himan Nath on Tabla.
